(By Huang Wenli) Today is Sept.8, Aug. 15 in Chinese Lunar Calendar. We celebrate the Middle-Autumn festival today, a traditional festival for family reunion in China. In this evening, the boarding students staying on the east campus of AFLS experienced special warmth and especial happiness.

From 6:40 pm, the students watched the video of “the First Class of Academic Year 2014” made by CCTV in their classrooms. They were from time to time moved to tears by the video, as some of the materials they saw on it reminded them of their parents far away from them. At 8:10 pm, with the dismissing bell ringing loud and clear, they rushed out of the classrooms to watch the firework play prepared for them by the school. Thereafter, the teachers brought out moon-cakes to share with every student. Eating the cakes and enjoying the bright moonlight, the students bathed in the love from the teachers, because they understood very well that every teacher there had his or her family members longing for reunion in this special evening.

Quiet settled down on the campus. The students are expected to remember this extraordinary Middle-Autumn festival, this extraordinary first class, as well as these extraordinary teachers.
